Michaela has a face that just seems to beg to be photographed. I am really happy with this session. Michaela got married on my bday and it was a beautiful wedding.

I don't know if it was the highest pollen count of the year, (the day we shot these) but I would wager that it was close. My feet were yellow when we were done, literally. I have never seen so much pollen before and I have lived in SC for six years now.
Caitlin has a story of heartache and hurt, like most of us and was lucky to get a second chance at love. These are so close to my heart, because my husband and I were both married before (sorry if ya knew that already). If it weren't for second chances, I would be a miserable, lonely wretch! I think there is a plan for us that is better than anything we could ever hope for or imagine! Caitlin I think you looked ravishing. Fantastic makeup artistry by Courtney!
I have never had a horse as close to my face as I did in this session. The 4th pic down has a "flare" in the corner...that is actually the horses mouth as he was sniffing my cheek. I left that in because it was so crazy. He was all up in my grill...literally!

I sound like Idol judges judging Bowersox, every pic you take is amazing, awesome, beautiful, fantastic, etc over and over again.

(05.24.10 @ 10:57 PM)Colton was born March 4, 2009.
"When I got there they did an ultrasound and there he was in the birth canal. About an hour and a half later we had a 8lb 1oz baby boy. I know folks think I'm crazy, and in some cases I am, but this was an unexpected surprise."
Stacy thank you for sharing your story with us and for letting me into your lives and allowing me to capture these images for you. During the session Colton became a little irritated as most infants do when being photographed. I asked Emily (my sis) to pull up something on her ipod, because I figured that music might just soothe him, and boy did it ever. The Avett Brothers were just the ticket. The song used in the slideshow is the song that made him still and happy...and it just so happens that his parents are engaged to be married, so the song was ironic and perfect.
Colton it is kids like you that change how we look at life. You make people appreciate things we take for granted. You make people smile and are such a little blessing. Please keep Colton and his family in your prayers. I know God has a fantastic plan for him and I can't wait to watch him grow up! Check out his slideshow here.
