Emma, and my sister, were the two people that helped me stay motivated while Bill was deployed last year. Emma got me into spinning (spin class), and I just loved it!!! I had tried it before, many years ago, but when you go with a friend and have that encouragement, it makes a huge difference.
Emma is super kind and supportive, and just an amazing person. She was a beautiful bride and a blast to make pictures with.

Wait till you see the wedding shoes. I know you can barely...soon, promise!

I think there was a 60% chance of rain the day we met for April's bridal session. We had a great time, as I always do with April. She is gracious and pleasant and all things Southern and feminine. April's dress might just be tied for prettiest dress of the year. The dress was from J. Majors in Charlotte, NC; one of my very favorite dress boutiques. April made the birdcage veil and the flower hair clip, and her lovely bouquet was created by American Floral.
April's traditional veil was exquisite. You don't see veils like that anymore, the intricacy/craftsmanship etc. Her mother wore the same veil in 1979. April's Mom told me that in 1979 she found the veil in Fayetteville, NC and it was so perfect and beautiful that she built her whole bridal ensemble around the veil. Sometimes that is how it happens. One piece can inspire many others.
April's hair and make-up was done by Jami Svay out of Charlotte, NC. Jami does amazing work. Please check out her blog and client list--- hello!!
