Welcome to my blog So this is a place I rant and rave, wear my heart on my sleeve, gush on my family, and most importantly share my art...the photo stories of wonderful couples and people I cross paths with.   Don't be afraid to bookmark it, or leave a comment.  I love hearing from everyone and anyone.  Check back frequently...I will try to keep you updated.

I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed shooting them.  Maggie is just another bff bride's that I am so lucky to get to know, be part of their life for a bit and watch just a small portion of their fairy-tale.  Maggie is a gem, and anyone that knows her will back me up on that.  She is the perfect match for the Southern Harwood that admitted to me, "she talks really fast".  Maggie is a transplant from up north, that just as I did, made SC her very happy home.  Maggie and Harwood had one of those chance (and fantastic) encounters, that great movies are made of.  Here is the story as told to me by Maggie : "We were introduced by a mutal friend, Harwood was representing the seller and I was the buyer. Ironically (or not) Harwood typically manages commerical/land instead of residentail real estate. This particular sell he was helping out a friend and participated in a residential deal (of a lifetime!), little did he know, he would meet his future wife!"

Love the photos! You ROCK!
FYI - the photos you took of the couple in front of the black arched doors was the same place a video was shot. I did a session there awhile back and the couple told me about the video. Check out my post - http://www.craighewittphotography.com/blog/love-session-rebecca-and-jeremy-charleston-wedding-photographer/
You can also see the alley way the couple is standing in inside the video as well.
Hope all is well on your end! :)

Ashley - I'm speechless, what an outstanding and amazing esesh with you! I can't thank you enough for your time and unique "camera eye" to make our time together so special. I'm forever blessed to have you for just a moment in time to capture our romance :-)

Whitney is so creative and extraordinary and downright beautiful.  Here is a link to her creative and well-written blog: The Avarice.  An old soul...an old school beauty... and I was so lucky to have been invited to share in this exciting bit of their lives. Tommy is the lucky man behind this handsome and happy duo.  He is smart and go-with-the-flow, and in love with this woman.  These two were given a little gift a few months ago.  A beautiful baby named Lilly.  We talked a lot about timing and how funny life can be, during this session. God's timing is perfect, whether we plan for it or not.  These two are such sweet parents, so sweet to each other.  It made me overwhelmed with joy watching how they were with their new baby, and with one another.

Rachael and Jody are kicking off my 2011 wedding season this weekend.  It has been fantastic having some time off to re-group and get through the cold and flu season.  There cannot possibly be another bug or virus left that we have not overcome ;)
Trying to disembark the Disney Dream while having the stomach flu, was just the opposite of a dream, but that could potentially be another blog post, later.  If anyone wants to hear about our cruise adventures, I may just whip up something to share with you.

Rachael's dad is retired Navy and Jody is retired Air Force.  Jody was once part of the USAF Thunderbirds out of Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas.  I had the pleasure of watching them fly overhead for almost five years while stationed there, back in the day. You guys are so lucky to have found each other.  Some people "got it" and you two got it!
