Welcome to my blog
So this is a place I rant and rave, wear my heart on my sleeve, gush on my family, and most importantly share my art...the photo stories of wonderful couples and people I cross paths with. Don't be afraid to bookmark it, or leave a comment. I love hearing from everyone and anyone. Check back frequently...I will try to keep you updated.

Hilary and Craig have been together for more than 3 years. I could sit and talk to them both for hours. They are both interesting and intellectual in their own ways. Hilary is a social worker with enough compassion to save the world, and Craig is so super intelligent (yet witty) with degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is working a project developing and constructing 2 new nuclear power plants in the outskirts of Columbia...which I find incredibly fascinating. Nuclear power is fabulous and green and I am all for it.
I asked Hilary to tell me a little about Craig and she said "he challenges me to make the most out of life as he makes the most of every single day..." and I was speechless.
I am so happy to have met them and found new friends in them..and to be on the verge of sharing a wonderful city with them.

Ebony and Kevin are another couple that have been dating for a long time. Now when I say a long time- personally my engagement was pretty quick. From start to "finish" we dated a year and a half, I
think.
If you can't tell from pictures Ebony's laugh is simply contagious. Kevin has probably had enough of us...but we have a few more dates before this thing is final ;) We did the majority of this session inside because it was like 100 degrees or so. And btw...I am head over heels for the flower in Ebony's hair...love it to pieces!!!

Rebecca and Lucas are having a destination wedding in Charleston this fall. They were sure they wanted to do an engagement session, but weren't sure at first how to work it out- them in Texas and me in SC. So, they decided to fly met to Texas, and do a session where they live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I must say, the weather wasn't great, but Rebecca and Lucas are (and so was the food and conversation!! I am so glad they found me and can't wait to photograph Rebecca this summer in Charleston in her gorgeous wedding dress!!! Rebecca's family is amazing. They go on the kind of family vacations that make your jaw drop!! And I thought (as a kid) that Six Flags rocked...;) They really set the bar high...Billy pack your bags, we're going somewhere far away soon!
